This Car Mounts give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Short neck but nice fit
This is a good product. The goose neck is very sturdy and easy to control. It's short though, so connecting it to your windshield is not really that valuable when you gotta reach to the device. Lucky for me I have a spot in the middle console that is perfect but not everyone will luck out.
I didn't give it a 5 though because they stated this would fit my blackberry 8800 but to be honest, it really didn't! I had to peel off the padding on one side and even then, some side button features were blocked by this thing. Also, the bottom supports were removed due to misconfiguration. They shouldn't claim it fits a phone that really doesn't fit. If you have a wide, full qwerty phone, be weary.
2. Stuck on iGrip
This is without a doubt one of the best windshield mounts there is. I purchased one of these several years ago with a holder to fit my Blackberry curve. I used it two years with no problem and then upgraded to a Sony Experia X10 which luckily, fit nicely in the Blackberry holder. Two years later, I am still using the SAME neck and have to only replace the cradle part...I got a HUGE Samsung Galaxy S II and so I had to get a universal cradle. Fortunately this neck allows you to interchange the actual cradle so you don't have to keep buying new units every time you change your phone.
The suction is AMAZING. I've never had any problems with it falling off my windshield. The neck is flexible enough to bend into a position you want, but then it does not move so you have no problems with bouncing. I totally recommend this product if you want to keep your phone securely in place while you're driving.
