This Car Mounts give to us some advantages, like this :
1. floppy knuckle
Generally a quality product. Fits the iPhone well. Suction cup holds to bean bag well. Joint just above suction cup holds well. But the knuckle behind the iPhone, which allows the phone to be rotated and placed in any position, is floppy. The weight of the phone causes the phone to droop, and point at the floor. In my particular configuration (2008 Toyota Prius, with the bean bag on top of the in-dash monitor), this mount happens to work - the dashboard has quite a forward slant, so the phone happens to land in an appropriate position. Anyone with a flatter dashboard will certainly have issues, because there is no way to tighten this knuckle.

2. Initially promising
I was looking forward to my little dash mount beanbag, and will admit that it worked well for a bit. However, over the months, the bottom has gotten "slick" and now slides all over the place. I noticed that the plastic surface where you mount the holder has also cracked and that the suction cup won't stick to it anymore. I'm in California, so a window mount is NOT an option - however, this is not the solution. Back to square one!

This came with no instructions which some people might not need, but I do. Also, my phone did not fit in it when it was in its case.
